Jeff Hagmeier is an American business executive, investor and entrepreneur with more than three decades of strong domestic and international executive leadership experience across multiple market sectors.

 

An experienced CEO, Board Director, and Federal Agency executive, his operating, turn-around and M&A leadership experience spans seed financed startups to PE backed companies, and global organizations to 24,000 employees and $1.7B.  He has been a company founder, business visionary, and CEO for companies in the Information Technology, Medical Device, Healthcare IT, Life Science, Defense and Homeland Security industry sectors.

 

He has served as Advisor to the United States Department of State, to members of the US Congress, and to DOD agencies, as well as to Fortune 15 communications and Information Technology companies, and early and middle market medical device, health information, financial services, biotech, energy, defense, and technology transfer companies and their US based and international investors.

 

Working with U.S. and internationally based clients, he focuses on Bialla’s investment, talent acquisition, and executive and board development practices for Private Equity, Asset Management, and Fortune 15 to middle market companies aligned with his operating and board leadership roles and market sector expertise. His market sectors include, Financial Services, Communications, Information Technology, Med-tech, Healthcare IT, Life Sciences, Defense, Homeland Security and related manufacturing, B2B, and B2C sectors.

 

A Midwest native, Hagmeier and his family lived for many years in Europe before returning to the United States where he served as the John A. Stevens Fellow at Harvard University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Social Policy and received Harvard’s Citation for Academic Excellence.

 

Since then, he has maintained a home in the Boston area and served as the CEO and in Board roles for companies in California, Massachusetts, and Washington DC.  He has also served in interim C-suite and Board roles in other companies in several other states.
