With more than 25 years of experience in executive search, Liz has recruited executives across most functional areas to include at the CEO and Board level. Much of her time has been spent working with companies in the life sciences, financial services, professional services (accounting, consulting, legal, private equity) and software industries.
Her assignments have also included recruiting general partners for some of the nation’s most highly regarded venture capital firms. Liz has worked with large, global firms to include Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart as well as with smaller, specialty boutique firms.
Over the years, she has been recognized for her work in Board diversity, for outstanding contribution to quality service. Before entering the executive search profession, Liz was with the Management Consulting Services division of Ernst & Whinney, LLP where she advanced on a fast track through two practices areas, Technology Management Consulting and Financial Institutions Systems Consulting. Projects led included large scale custom software development and business process improvement engagements.
Liz earned both an M.B.A. in Management Information Systems and B.B.A. in Marketing (magna cum laude) from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. She was named “Marketing Student of the Year” in 1980 by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Marketing Association and while in graduate school was an intern with the Small Business Administration. Liz has published several articles during her career on topics to include “Achieving Board Room Diversity” and “Basic Skills Back in Demand”, the changing role of corporate CFOs.
Liz resides in Atlanta and in her spare time enjoys hiking in the North Georgia Mountains and boating the many lakes North Georgia has to offer. Cooking is her creative sport, when time allows.
